Hallands Konstförenings jurybedömda Vårsalong (The Spring Salon)

Hallands Konstförenings jurybedömda Vårsalong (Halland Art Association’s jury-judged Spring Salon) is a major art event in Halland. Every year, many artists with ties to Halland submit works for evaluation. An exciting exhibition is created based on the submitted entries and the jury’s selection. This year’s jury consists of two active artists: Lena Ylipää from Lainio, Kiruna municipality, and Maria Sundström from Hörnefors in Västerbotten.

For the 2026 Vårsalong, 289 people submitted their works for evaluation. Of these, 39 have been selected with a total of 116 works. The participants come from a wide geographical area, but what they all have in common is a strong connection to Halland. The selected works of art show a breadth of expression in different techniques such as painting, graphic art, photography, sculpture, glass, embroidery, and tufting.

Vårsalongen is organized by the Halland Art Association and the Halland Art Museum with the support of Region Halland.
