Acquisition Funds

Operating funds for the museum’s everyday work come from national, county and municipal sources. In addition to its annual grants, the museum also has resources in the form of donations, which are to be used primarily for the acquisition of objects for the collection. We have been entrusted with the responsibility of managing the estates of friends of the local community who wanted to support the museum. That trust is worth a very great deal to us. The most prominent donations of financial resources are the Svea Larson Endowment Fund, the Lagergren Endowment Fund and the Bengtsson Family Endowment Fund.
