The Lagergren Endowment Fund
The Lagergren Fund was established by treasurer Axel Lagergren of Halmstad, son of one of the founders of the Halland Museum Society. The fund’s resources are used primarily for the acquisition of cultural heritage objects. Over the years these have included a wall clock made in the late eighteenth century by Jeppe Hansson of Laholm, a portable communion set of silver by Bernard Halck of Halmstad, and a late-nineteenth-century drawing by Severin Nilson of a lively scene in Tivoli Park.
