Glasklart (Crystal Clear)

Transparent, vivid, fragile or powerful – glass is a material that both fascinates and inspires. In Glasklart, the many personalities of the material are given space through works from Hallands Konstmuseum’s (Halland Art Museum’s) own collection, alongside a borrowed installation by the women-only artist collective BOOM!

Here we encounter, among others, sculptures by Edvin Öhrström and installations by contemporary artist David Svensson. Designer and artist Jenny Nordberg’s mirrors, created using historical techniques, exist in the borderland between art and design. The exhibition also features Linda Morell, whose amber-hued glass drawings bring together Norse mythology and dramatic natural narratives from the sea.

Together with several other artists, the result is an exhibition in which glass takes centre stage.
