Hallands Konstmuseum (Halland Art Museum) is beautifully located next to the river Nissan and Norre Katts park in central Halmstad. It offers exciting exhibitions and programs for all ages. The museum has an extensive collection of art from Halland, including Söndrumskolonin (the Söndrum Colony), Halmstadgruppen (the Halmstad Group), Thea Ekström, Olle Bærtling and Lotta Antonsson. The museum shows a selection of the collection.

Our Collections
Hallands Konstmuseum (Halland Art Museum) takes an inclusive and wide-ranging approach to art. In addition to traditional forms such as painting, sculpture and printmaking, the collection also includes photography, design, video art, handicrafts, folk art and architecture. The museum also houses an older collection of cultural history objects, an extensive library and a substantial archive.
