Addition

In the exhibition Addition, a selection of the new acquisitions, made by Hallands Konstmuseum of artists, craftsmen, designers, architects and photographers in the last decade is shown. Most are purchased through Svea Larson Endowment Fund, and thus have a connection to Halland. The collection is also expanded annually through generous private donations.

The Svea Larson Endowment Fund
Svea Larson (1907-1989) lived in Getinge and left her estate to the museum when she died. The Svea Larson Endowment Fund is Hallands Konstmuseum’s veritable golden egg. It makes it possible for us to spend about two million SEK every year to purchase Halland art and crafts. Few museums in Sweden enjoy such generous support.
